The McMillen Library is Hosting a Poetry Contest for National Poetry Month!

Also, feel free to submit any art or photography that goes along with your poem. These must be drawn, painted, captured, etc. by you, and may NOT be copy right images from another person or AI generated content.

Finals Week Stress Relief Activities in the Library

When: May 8th through 12th, 2023

Painting on the Flipchart

Create your piece of art using our state-of-the-art technology! Help us make the finals week art gallery. The paintings will be printed out and displayed on the wall by the sitting bar in the library.  Students can also have a printout to take home. 

Emoji Quiz 

Destress by decoding emoji book titles.  Choose from different genres (classic, Shakespearean, Disney, Young Adult). If you guessed it right, you get a juice box for a prize.

Adult Coloring

Choose from one of our beautiful mandalas or greeting cards to color. Express yourself and take home your creation!

Write a thank you note to your favorite staff or faculty and we will deliver it or post it on the library board.
